Everton defender Michael Keane is looking to quickly move on from Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Burnley.
The Toffees shared the spoils at Turf Moor in an unmemorable and frustrating encounter.
David Moyes was without a number of key players, with Dewsbury-Hall, Gana Gueye, Grealish and Ndiaye all absent.
Young Tyler Dibling impressed, and was unfortunate not to win a penalty after his effort struck a Burnley hand inside the box.
However, Michael Keane is eager to move on from the goalless draw, and is looking ahead to this evening’s clash.
He said: “[The clean sheet] is one positive, I wouldn’t say it’s something to build on, because I think we’ve got a lot to improve on going into the Forest game.
“There’s so much we can do better and so much we need to do better. We’ve been really good away from home, to be fair, so far this season and we’ve passed the ball a lot better than what we did [against Burnley], so that’s something we need to get back to.
“We want a reaction I know we didn’t lose [against Burnley] but it kind of feels that way with the performance, so hopefully we can react, prepare in these next couple of days and put in a good performance against Forest.”
BLUES NEED A REACTION, BUT FOREST WILL BE TOUGHER OPPOSITION THAN LAST TIME OUT
It remains unclear whether Jack Grealish will be available, but it would be a huge boost to see him start.
Dibling deserves to keep his place in the starting XI regardless, so McNeil drops to the bench for me.
It’ll be a challenging game. Moyes will still be without key players and Forest may be buoyed by their impressive performance against Manchester City.
However, Keano is right. We need a reaction. Three games without a goal isn’t good enough.
