Jack Grealish Dedicates Winning Goal to Everton Fans

Everton match-winner Jack Grealish has dedicated his first goal for the club to the fans.

The loan star struck in the 93rd minute to secure a dramatic 2-1 over in-form Crystal Palace.

The goal sealed a late comeback as the Blues fought from going a goal down in the first half.

Grealish has been a sensation since arriving from Manchester City in the summer, and clearly enjoyed his first goal for the club.

Indeed, the 30-year-old has been playing with a smile on his face for the first time in a long time.

Speaking about his winning goal at full-time, the winger dedicated it to the club’s fans for the welcome he has received since joining the Blues.

“It’s brilliant. It’s so nice to score here,” said Grealish. “Do you know what’s mad? The last games we’ve played here we’ve been drawing and I keep saying to myself in the 85th minute, ‘Come on Jack, go and score. Imagine if you scored now’.

“I did it against Villa, I did it against West Ham and I didn’t score, so today I actually said the same thing again and I scored and I ran to where my mum and dad were, so it was nice. That goal goes to all the Evertonians for making me feel so welcome here.”

SUPER JACK GREALISH FEELS THE LOVE FROM EVERTON FANS

Grealish’s goal ended a 19-game unbeaten run for Crystal Palace, and got Everton back to winning ways.

It also gave the Hill Dickinson its first late winner, a dramatic moment that the ground needed.

There’s always been a symbiotic relationship between the fans and what is happening on the pitch.

It only takes an instant for it to go from flat to frantic, as was often the case at Goodison Park.

The Hill Dickinson was yet to have such a moment, and attempts to manufacture an atmosphere were doomed to fail.

It has to come organically, which is what makes moments like that so special.

And that was a special moment courtesy of a special player.
