The 28-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Spurs in the summer, though has yet to find a new club.
The Spanish international has been linked with a return to his homeland, an outcome reportedly preferred by the player.
Indeed, La Liga sides Real Sociedad and Sevilla are said to be interested, alongside the Toffees.
Reguilon has previously had a stint at Sevilla, during the 2019/20 season, where he played 31 games while on loan from Real Madrid.
The full-back joined Spurs in 2020 for a fee of £27.5m, but has spent the past three seasons out on loan.
Indeed, since 2022, Reguilon has been loaned to Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Brentford.
However, in that three year period, he played just 36 league games in total (11 for Atleti, 9 for United, 16 for Brentford).
Everton strengthened heavily during the summer window, but disappointingly failed to rectify issues at full-back.
Injuries in the opening weeks of the campaign have compounded the situation, forcing Moyes to fit square pegs in round holes.
Jake O’Brian has filled in at right-back, while midfielder James Garner has featured on the left side of defence.
New arrival Adam Aznou has been out since the beginning of the season, while Vitalii Mykolenko has also struggled to maintain his fitness.
The Ukrainian returned to play in the Merseyside derby, though Moyes is still reportedly tempted by Reguilon’s availability.
If the player’s wage demands are reasonable, it could be wise to bring cover in on a short-term deal.
However, following a troubled spell in England, a return to Spain could be on the cards for the left-back.
Perhaps this is one to keep an eye on.
