The 25-year-old has ‘got a knock’ and so may be unavailable for the Villains’ visit to BMD.
Ndiaye has been on international duty with Senegal, who overcame DR Congo and Sudan in World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game, Moyes confirmed Ndiaye’s injury status.
He said: “We’ve got a concern about Ili Ndiaye – he’s got a knock, so we’ll need to see. We’re not sure how he’ll be for tomorrow.
The Senegalese international has started the season in excellent form with two league goals already this season.
Indeed, his blossoming relationship with Jack Grealish has been a joy to watch in the opening weeks of the new campaign.
Ndiaye has been central to Everton’s good run of form and so he will be a notable absentee should he be unavailable.
There are few things more frustrating than a key player returning from international duty with an injury.
However, should Ndiaye remain sidelined, it could be an opportunity for young Tyler Dibling to make his league debut for the Blues.
The £35m summer signing is an exciting addition to Moyes’ squad, and will no doubt be eager to make an impression.
Moyes also confirmed that Vitalii Mykolenko will also face a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
The left-back withdrew from international duty with Ukraine last week and has yet to make a full recovery.
Moyes stated: “Myko is around it. We’ll need to see whether he’s going to make it or not. Hopefully he might be okay.”
The 26-year-old has been plagued by injury in the opening weeks of the season. James Garner filled in at left-back in the 1-0 defeat at Leeds.
Hopefully both will be fit to start against Villa tomorrow, as Everton look to extend their strong run of form.
