The 26-year-old joined the Toffees from Chelsea last month for a reported fee of £26m, and has wasted little time in his new surroundings.
A sublime left-footed strike in the 3-2 win at Wolves saw the summer signing score his first Everton goal at the weekend.
With an assist for Iliman Ndiaye’s strike, Dewsbury-Hall’s contributions have not gone unnoticed by Evertonians. Indeed, the midfielder states he is ‘so motivated’ following his summer move.
The Nottingham-born star has revealed he sees his move to Everton as a ‘fresh start’ after limited playing time at Chelsea.
As reported via the Liverpool Echo, Dewsbury-Hall said: “I won two trophies at Chelsea last season, so I don’t regret going there. I played a big part in the trophies, so I’m happy with the year I had there.
“But for me, it was the right time to move on and progress my career and try and play regularly.
“So this does feel like a fresh start for me. And I want to build on the new project for the new football club. I’m so motivated and so excited and hopefully it’s the start of an exciting chapter.”
Dewsbury-Hall is an exciting additon to Moyes’ squad, and has linked up brilliantly with fellow newcomer Jack Grealish, who has also quickly settled into life in royal blue.
With four assists already, Grealish is playing with a smile on his face that has been absent for some time. Indeed, it was clear to see at full-time at Molyneux the mutual love felt by Grealish and the travelling fans.
With both midfielders clearly eager for a new chapter, Everton could reap the creative rewards of two quality, hungry players.
