Given Up. Club officials decided to close the bar in Club View early.
Hill Dickinson Stadium is already being hailed as one of the most impressive football grounds in the Premier League. From its stunning architecture to the steep, atmospheric stands, it’s a stadium that captures the imagination of every supporter.
In my view, it’s the best football ground in the Premier League.
Everton fans have waited decades for a new home at Bramley-Moore Dock, and while the excitement surrounding the new stadium is undeniable, there’s one sticking point that has left a lot of supporters scratching their heads: Club View.
Any venture of this scale will inevitably face teething issues upon opening. Perhaps the biggest challenge Everton are currently facing is ‘Club View.’
Good question, because it appears Everton, their stewards, and catering partner Amarak UK all have different views.
Let’s concentrate on what the club sold the £1,200 membership as;
‘Club View is a new concept at Everton Stadium that will offer supporters a membership combining the excitement of live football with a private concourse experience and the opportunity to rub shoulders with Blues legends.
Located centrally within Level 3 of the East Stand, Club View will be the only space of its kind inside the stadium and offer access to a private concourse and prime elevated halfway line seating, as well as a host of additional matchday benefits’
Well, benefits of Club View Membership are meant to include;
The reality?
A quick search of ‘Club View’ on social media tells it’s own story;

Molly Harrison (@MollyOHarrison) | The club are just trying to ignore how poor Club View is and that we’ve been mis-sold! I sent a massive complaint and when I’ve spoke to others who have, we all got a copy and paste response🤦🏼♀️ I’ll be raising it further after today👍 |
Club View Blue (@ClubViewBlue) | Club view is absolutely shocking |
Matty (@run_dcl) | I would not be surprised if that was the worst part of the ground. Not at all like it was sold. Great view though which is all I’m arsed about tbh. But deffo feel a tad cheated tbh. |
Ben Ferguson (@f13rgo) | Absolutely dreadful user experience at Club View. More money for more stairs, less dining options and ridiculous queues and bottlenecks. What was sold as a somewhat more premium experience has been anything but. What is going on? Sort it out or refund everyone @Everton |
Caitlin Edwards💗 (@Caitlinefc8) | Clubview a shambles again… £10 voucher not working, soft drinks machine not working, no kopperberg but they’ll offer you warm water not even in a fridge… oh and you can’t even bring your own drink in because they get taken off you… you’re atrocious @efc_fanservices @Everton |
CryptoBoomer (@danm1878) | Absolute shambles in there. They’ve learnt nothing from the Roma game. There is nothing premium about it at all. The only space with only one catering outlet. And not allowed anywhere else in the stadium. Still looking for our dedicated private bar. |
James (@SavEliiz2014) | @efc_fanservices need sort out that club view asap , £10 a game that can’t use due to no drinks or food one catering and 2 drinks joke , by time que miss half the game The staff are awful too |
Mark Edwards (@Mark_Edwards73) | Correct massively missold, staff not a clue what’s going on, roma was bad this is worse, my email after roma game fell on deaf ears |
Dave Thomas (@dtefc) | Everton please sort out the catering at the Club View, we are paying premium prices and getting terrible service, long queues, overpriced food, stock sold out by HT, i wish I could change to another part of the stadium as the CV is nothing short of a ripoff |
Paul Catterall (@BigPcat) | Gutted reading the feedback from the fans in club view, come on @everton sort it out. I had a boss day today in my seat, and it’s just not nice knowing people have spent so much money and nothing is what they have been promised. Do the right thing Everton |
Ginger Tompkins (@ginger_tom79806) | Club view is a rip off couldn’t use voucher had to pay no escalators sold as a nice place with facilities and it’s a fooking grey slab joke no where to sit few screens massive ques looks like the “people’s” club has ripped us all off |
Mr.Roberts (@martinEroberts) | Bramley Moore 👍 Ndiaye 👍 Grealish 👍 Garner 👍 Pickford👍 Club View Premier Experience – 😡😡😡 Programmes ❌️ Loaded funds ❌️ Lift Access ❌️ Serving Speed ❌️ Meet the Players ❌️ Stewards 👍 Result 🏆 @Everton it’s a scam and a joke. No one is happy there. No one! |
Ciaran McGivern (@McGivern09) | Couldn’t agree more, £200 a ticket for me and me aul fella. Vouchers didn’t work, told us they couldn’t serve anymore beer at HT (yet the e-bar still serving), no pies and a piss poor attitude from the staff. |
Mr Bergstrom (@MrBoogerstrom) | Sounds like Club View has been a complete and utter shitshow. |
Lovelystuff (@lovelystuff1878) | Club view was an absolute shit show |
Harry (@Owens_EFC) | someone explain to me why the south stand bar is open for an hour after the final whistle but not in club view, I’ve paid £1200 for a worse experience than the rest of the ground, truly baffling |
Paul Basnett (@basnett_paul) | Club view is great for watching the match but there are problems with access and queueing. Club view is on level 3 ,there is only one lift so it’s stairs all the way. When you finally get up there you are faced with enormous queues at the dockyard kitchen. The concourse is a mess |
stuart eales (@stuarteales) | The infrastructure in the level 3 concourse is not sufficient to meet and satisfy the terms and conditions that were promised. They will tinker with things for a while but the correct response is to refund all club view members and scrap it. |
Mick Pryce (@blackfoot231) | Wasn’t great.. ran out of food by halftime… not that it would mattered as no chance to get served.. definitely room for improvement.. nothing to do with catering,, just not enough infrastructure for capacity.. |
jak wi11iam5 (@jackowills22) | I’ve complained mate. It was ridiculous. Awful service in there |
Rich.. (@currill1878) | Yep it’s shite even if the £10 credit worked you’d still be waiting 40mins plus to get anything needs sorting @efc_fanservices |
ToffeeBlue22 (@ToffeeBlue22) | They’re not going to be able to fix it without making the bar bigger. Too many people. One bar that’s not big enough. Stupid making people faff with phones to claim their match credit. |
Ginger Tompkins (@ginger_tom79806) | Club view is a joke queued for ages and then had to buy pint as no credit then half time queued again and ran out if beer no where to stand no escalator elderly supporters struggled with stairs clothes covered in grey dust what a joke & not enough toilets |
Andy Francis💙 (@AndyFrancis02) | Ran out of free programs. Couldn’t get near a till to spend the £10 on the card. E-bar queue just as long. Gonna need to be in as soon as the doors open to get served. Halftime a complete waste of effort too. The amenities on that concourse, definitely too small for the footfall. |
Adam Shepphard (@adamshepphard) | Completely agree – queued for over 40 mins for food they’d run out out of. After being there for that long tried to get drinks too – run out. Only one voucher worked. |
Sam Hughes (@Sam11hughes) | 100% agree. Missold. So so hot waiting in line to I was sweating. Took us for ever to get a drink and our £10 credit didnt even work. |
Stuart Pyke (@stuartpykesport) | @efc_fanservices – just FYI – Club View total chaos…. really poor 🤷🏼 |
Joe Mac (@Bullens_Blue) | @efc_fanservices Can’t use the £10 voucher and you’ve run out of Lager in club view Not a great start. |
Paul Murphy (@murphbluenose) | @efc_fanservices Fortunate to be in Club View this season. Great view. Unfortunately don’t have anything to drink or eat as I can’t get near kiosks…absolute chaos similar to the Roma game. Head Stewart said vouchers aren’t working…c’mon, it can’t be that difficult, surely? |
James H (@JamesHampson200) | @efc_fanservices wouldnt even know if the £10 credit in club view is working as couldnt get near the bar |
My own experienced mirrored the very clear consensus. I got in over an hour before kick off, and waited 40 minutes for a drink before giving up. The mood towards Club View was universal as fortune didnt favour the brave of those who waited out the queues, only to discover their £10 credit wasn’t going to work. Or there was no food or drink left. Others were told there was no programmes. And to top it off? The concourse was closed long before full time.
Accessibility is another issue. The club also told fans that Club View would be accessible. It isn’t. Club View occupies the third tier, with no escalator. And while the club stated that juniors would not be permitted, children were in the area regardless.
Quite simply, what was delivered, is too far from what was sold.
Everton, evidently recognised the problems: within hours of full-time, they sent the below email to all members acknowledging the issues.
I disagree with a lot of the steps Everton have rushed out within hours of the final whistle. I mean, expand the retail offering? Trust me, nobody in Club View wants you to expand retail offering in Club View. They walk past the main megastore already on the way in. We don’t want a section to buy Everton shirts. We just want a pint and a pie.
How Can Club View Be Fixed?
Option 1. Scrap it for now.
Admit it has been mis-sold, refund members the difference, and revisit the concept next season once proper infrastructure is in place.
Option 2: Expand and improve facilities
Add more F&B areas. The single existing bar simply cannot serve 2,000+ members efficiently.
Fix the £10 credit system. Current mobile-only, per-person (to receive discount) transactions create excessively long queues. Providing vouchers with programmes could reduce wait times.
For a new stadium, fan routines are still being formed. If the club wants supporters to spend money inside, these issues need urgent attention – before we decide it’s easier to spend outside the stadium.
