Everton Football Club has confirmed it will welcome Italian side AS Roma to its new Hill Dickinson Stadium for a headline pre-season friendly on Saturday, 9 August, with a 3 pm kick-off. This will mark the first fully open event at the waterfront stadium—following a series of restricted-capacity trials—before the start of the 2025–26 Premier League season, with all 52,888 seats available to fans .
This fixture doubles as both Everton’s final test-run of its new stadium and the club’s last pre-season match under manager David Moyes. It also offers Season Ticket Members the first chance to occupy their reserved seats, with fans encouraged to arrive early at The Plaza, opening from 12 pm, to enjoy live music, food stalls, and fresh stadium amenities. Stadium concourses will open at 1 pm.
Tickets will go sale to Season Ticket Members from 10am on Monday 30 June to purchase their own seat.
Any Season Ticket Members who did not claim their own seat and should wish to purchase alternative seat(s) can do so in the priority window for Forever Blue+ Members from 10am on Monday 7 July.
