Roberto Martinez is ‘the clear favourite to make an extraordinary return as Everton manager’, according to The Telegraph.
Despite claiming Martinez to be the clear favourite, the report claims the former Everton manager is not the only candidate and there is an expectation that Everton will again place assistant Duncan Ferguson in temporary charge to provide the stability to give them time before they make a permanent appointment.
Elsewhere, talkSPORT report Roberto Martinez & Duncan Ferguson to be the front runners, while Sky Sports News claim a candidate list containing Roberto Martinez, Rudi Garcia, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney or Duncan Ferguson.
