Yerry Mina’s Agent: Mina Wants To Stay

Yerry Mina’s agent has revealed Mina wishes to stay at Barcelona.

Jair Mina, Yerry Mina’s agent and uncle has told a Spanish radio station that he isn’t aware of any bids and that his nephew believes he will succeed at Barcelona.

Mina: “I’m not aware of any bids.

“The player has a contract with Barcelona and wants to stay at Barcelona.

“We’re going to see what the situation is with the club, but we don’t have any information.

“He moved in January to succeed at a big club and Barca are a big club.

“He is convinced he will get the chance to do big things and our idea is that he stays where he is.”

Everton have been strongly linked with the  6ft5in Colombian centre half, with Barcelona reported to be want to replace him with Sevilla’s Clément Lenglet. The defender is also likely to find himself surplus to EU regulations, with Barcelona only permitted to use three players from outside the EU and a deal in place to sign Gremio’s Arthur Melo, supplementing South American regulars Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho.
