September GOT Player of the Month

September has now been and gone and with it, six games that featured two much needed wins, a disappointing Europa League draw and sadly, three heavy losses – results that duly impacted upon the numbers of votes cast for the respective Man of the Match polls.

Nevertheless, the GOT fan base voted and we’re delighted to bring you the result of the Player of the Month.

During September, only one player – Dominic Calvert-Lewin – appeared in all six games with a total of twenty-three players seeing first team action.

In terms of individual Man of the Match winners, there were six different winners in Jordan Pickford, Maarten Stekelenburg, Tom Davies, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Oumar Niasse and Nikola Vlasic.

The single biggest game vote unsurprisingly came after the home win over Bournemouth with the lowest following the disappointing performance and result away to Atalanta.

Again, we’d like to stress that your votes count and would encourage you to vote as quickly as possible due to the compressed nature of the fixture list this season, polls will/may only be open for a few days due to the next game coming very quickly afterwards.

Niceties out of the way and in time honoured fashion, we’re delighted to announce that in third place for September is… Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

In second place is… Nikola Vlasic.

And the GOT Player of the Month for September, with over 23% of the votes cast, quite remarkable after playing a grand total of just 60 minutes but scoring three goals is…

Oumar Niasse.
