Besic reflects on debut season

Muhamed Bešić has reflected on his debut season in the Premier League, admitting he initially found it difficult to adjust to the pace of the Premier league.

Besic: “England is the best league in the world

“Teams press all over the pitch. It wasn’t what I expected at first, and it was hard at the beginning but now I think I am better than before.

“I was always a good player; it’s just sometimes I wasn’t quick enough. For example, I sometimes take one touch, sometimes two touches and sometimes I would dribble.

“I was always trying to dribble but now I’ve learnt much more about having to take just one touch to make the game fast, and that is important for the number six position.

“I wouldn’t say I am a better player, but a more experienced one,”
