Everton and Liverpool’s FIFA 15 battle

Everton and Liverpool players battled it out in the second Merseyside derby of the season – ok it wasn’t the usual match at Anfield or Goodison, it was all to mark the release of the brand new FIFA 15 game.

Leighton Baines, Joel Robles and future stars Tyias Browning and Ryan Ledson looking as focused as they would if lining up for the real thing as they took on the Reds on the Playstation.

In the team for Liverpool were tense looking trio Jon Flanagan, Fabio Borini and Danny Ward but they appeared to be celebrating a goal in a clip of the game posted online.

The official Everton Twitter account admitted that the game had seen a “very tense finish” as Liverpool FC revealed that the team were taking a penalty during the match – and we all know what happens when the Reds get a penalty.

But neither clubs have revealed the end result of the match. Everton tweeted telling us to keep an eye on @EASPORTSFIFA in the coming weeks to see the results.
