Everton 0-0 Swansea

Everton´s failure to score for the first time in 19 league games cost them two valuable points as they were held to a goalless draw by Swansea City at Goodison Park.

Everton dominated possession for large periods of the match, but failed to break the deadlock despite having a number of good chances.

Michel Vorm denied Victor Anichebe, while the Swans keeper also frustrated Nikica Jelavic and Phil Neville.

Swansea´s best chance saw Tim Howard tip Michu´s effort onto the bar.

Moyes is happy with his side´s extended run in the league, which has seen them lose just three times in their last 31 league games, but admitted that they could have played better this afternoon.

“We missed a lot of chances. On another day, if we´d taken one then we´d have won the game,” said Moyes.

“We could have played better, but Swansea deserve a lot of credit for what they´re doing.

“It´s a great achievement by my players (three defeats in 31 Premier League games) but what happens when you get on a run like this is that you want to win every game. However, I can´t fault the players for their efforts today.”
