Pienaar accused of bar punch-up

South African press are reporting Steven Pienaar to have appeared in Randburg Magistrate´s Court on charges for assault.

Pienaar is said to be accused of assaulting Thabang Mnisi, the son of the deputy minister of public service and administration, Ayanda Dlodlo.

Mnisi was allegedly kicked and punched several times by Pienaar and his friends following a confrontation in the club´s VIP section.

Pienaar is yet to plead to the charge.
