Drenthe Eyes Feyenoord Move

Royston Drenthe has signalled his intent to return to boyhood club Feyenoord within the next three years.

The 24-year-old Dutchman arrived at Everton in August on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid after joining the Primera Liga giants from Feyenoord in 2007.

And Drenthe, whose contract at the Bernabeu expires in the summer, told NUSport that he intends to return to Feyenord by 2015.

Drenthe: “I certainly will (play there) once again. They´re doing well again.

“When? At least by 2015. I still want to have some explosiveness on the pitch. I won´t return to sit on the bench.”
