Moyes: Felli Deal Close

David Moyes reckons Marouane Fellaini is very close to agreeing a new contract at Everton.

The premonition has come as some surprise to the majority of the Clubs fan base, who become consigned to losing the influential midfielder after prolonged talks between the club and his representatives seemed futile.

But, speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Everton manager David Moyes said “I think it is very close to getting done”.

“The chairman and the chief exec have been working on it for a while and I´ve been waiting on the good news and hopefully it´s not too far away.”

“He has been a really good player for us over the last few seasons and if we can keep him it will be really good.”
