Everton Loan Dier Again

Sporting Lisbon have confirmed that talented young centre-half Eric Dier will spend the upcoming season on loan at Everton.

The 17-year-old spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Toffees and worked with our Under-18 set-up, impressing in his short spell with the youth team.

The permanent future of Dier remains unclear, but Everton have signed him up for at least one more year of development at Finch Farm.

It remains to be seen whether Dier will feature for the first team or even the reserves in the coming year.
