We’re Signing "WHO!?"

Uh-oh – our forum moderators are going to be busy with a Sunday newspaper reporting that Joey Barton is set to complete a £4million move to Everton.

Joey Barton has been a contentious issue amongst Evertonians for some time – and the Sunday papers who are adamant Everton are closing in on a move for the 28-year-old Evertonian have prompted divided opinions…

Everton manager David Moyes has twice in the past attempted to sign the Huyton-born England midfielder, most recently confirming attempts to sign Joey Barton in January 2007, and when contract talks between Barton and Newcastle broke down this week, it seemed inevitable we´d be linked with the lifelong Everton supporter.
