"We Must Inspire Supporters"

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov says it is up to the players to inspire the supporters inside Goodison Park on Saturday.

A big crowd is expected for what is the undisputed tie of the fourth round and Bily says the hosts are desperate to progress in the competition.

With the team struggling to get results at home this season, the famous old stadium has been conspicuously flat at times.

The wins over Liverpool and Spurs have been the undoubted exceptions and Bily feels it is up to the players to give the fans something to cheer – starting in the cup this weekend.

The Russian will be hoping for a start, having scored a superb goal in the draw against West Ham, and he said: "The supporters are great and really get behind us – we will need that on Saturday.

"They create a great atmosphere but this season we have not got the results or played the way we should have done. Now it is really important to win in the FA Cup.

"A good run in the competition is a big aim for us this season and we will try really hard to beat Chelsea."

Tickets are still available for Everton´s clash with Chelsea in the 4th round of the FA Cup, sponsored by E-ON. Prices start from £30 for adult, £14.50 for juniors and £19.75 for concessions.
