Lescott has always played better at CB, when he was down here at the Wolves he never looked the same player if he had to cover at LB, don't get me wrong, he was adequate enough at LB there in the championship but he's looked quality at every level at CB. I'm happy for Jags though. :D

I think it's from him being a midfielder too. On the plus side, you get a defender who's composed on the ball. On the negative side, at times he'll try risky pass that wouldn't be punished if he was further up the pitch. I reckon he'll iron that out of his game though soon enough.

You'd be a good replacement for Neville. I haven't read much of the thread but Veloso is out of Everton's reach. Even if money wasn't a problem I don't see him leaving Sporting unless it's for a Champions League side in England, Spain or Italy.

Bent is alright but I'd rather keep Baines and spend money elsewhere.
