Sky Sports News understands Charles N'Zogbia is poised to hand in a transfer request at Wigan.

N'Zogbia has never hidden his desire to play at a higher level and it is believed he keen to leave the DW Stadium before the close of the transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who made his debut for France against Norway on Wednesday, is now prepared to force the issue with Wigan by officially asking for a move.

I would say there is a good chance he could go to Sunderland seeing as they got a bit of wonga for Jones during the week.

They have 2 similar players in Malbranque and Reid, so not sure about it. Apparently Stoke is still having cash to spend, but they don't really need him, having Etherington, Lawrence and Tuncay as wide midfielders.
