The idea of turning him into an Evertonian and bringing an aggressive winning mentality is appealing and is exactly what the club needs. He knows exactly were a club needs to be, to not only compete but to win silverware consistently.

Besides, maybe he is considering going into coaching or management himself. That's the kind of experience and expertise that is invaluable in building a successful club. I would consider any player would consider it an honor to play with or be coached by him. He could be an astute signing despite the misgivings of age and ego.

i recall Thierry Henry stating he use to put fear in players, to make sure the team applied 100% effort at all times. I feel we lack this and a bit of fear is needed, with Dunc, Carlo and someone as aggressive as Ibra on the pitch this would negate the issue. He is a leader and that is what we have been lacking and I know his age is a concern, but the guy is a complete freak.

He’ll be good for the profile of the club and getting our name out there. Matchday Evertonians aren’t really known for wearing shirts so not gonna make a huge difference with that side of it.

Also, trying to actually find ouranywhere that sells Everton shirts can be tricky.
