Wilfried Zaha has submitted a transfer request to Crystal Palace as he looks to force his way out of the club.
Palace must now decide whether to cave in before tomorrow’s transfer deadline at 5pm in the knowledge that Everton remain suitors for the forward.

The London club have been steadfast in saying that the Ivory Coast international is not for sale but Zaha’s desire to quit has now hardened, leaving part-owner and chairman Steve Parish in the spotlight.
Everton’s ambition under Farhad Moshiri, the owner, means they are willing to strike a club-record deal for the 26-year-old.
Palace value Zaha at a minimum of £80 million, aware that the winger’s presence could be the difference between staying in the Premier League or not. Remaining in the top flight is worth at least £120 million to clubs.

The two clubs have traditionally had a good relationship and have been in discussions this week over a deal for midfielder James McCarthy to move to London.
Everton’s interest in Zaha, however, has placed a strain on matters before Saturday’s Premier League opener between the teams.
The situation comes with Everton having endured mounting frustration, with a £30 million bid for Alex Iwobi rejected by Arsenal and two offers for the Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré, the latest worth £36.7 million, rebuffed.
A loan inquiry for Manchester United’s Chris Smalling was turned down, while Everton are considering the offer from Chelsea to take Fikayo Tomori, 21, on loan.
Marco Silva, the manager, is close to making a signing with Djibril Sidibé undergoing a medical today before a season-long loan from Monaco.
