But you make it sound like his entire career is in jeopardy as if no kid has ever come back from a big injury.
Which bit? Was it the;
‘I am beginning to fear for his chances as a top flight player now’
or the
‘Hopefully he comes back this season and can get some minutes under his belt’

in my humble opinion, a 19/20 year old missing a season at that age isn’t ideal, and has the potential to jeopardise a top flight career.
Doesn’t preclude a professional career in lower leagues, and I’m certainly not suggesting it’s career threatening.
