2023/24 Youssef Chermiti

Don’t care if he’s been signed for the future or behind the managers back or whatever, the current option to use maupay if DCL is injured has not worked.

Dyche can have all the titty lips and hissy fits he likes in private, but the lad has to be in and around the 1st team now, and be getting minutes, and Dyche just being a belligerent prick not putting him on the bench even is harming the kid, Dyche and our prospects.

Same with Cannon and Branthwaite - how are they ever going to learn and get better when they don’t play any minutes and see players like Keane and Maupay underperforming and getting picked ahead of them.

He played 16 times for Sporting Lisbon last season, a team far better than ours, why can't he play for us when our only fit centre forward is Neal Maupay?

Married to the fact he only has a four year deal, if he doesn't play much this year then next season becomes crucial. Doesn't make it here instantly and/or gets loaned out by Jan then he's down to 2 years left on his deal. Usually when things run down like that the player ends up leaving for peanuts. You pay those kind of sums for someone, kid or not, then they need game time else we should have loaned him back to Sporting immediately or not gone for him at all in the first place.

It was a bit tetchy but also weak questions.

Just ask if Chermiti is going to feature this weekend or something, not vague questions and then drop your arse when Dyche doesn't really answer you
Yeah should’ve been phrased better, but it’s legitimate to ask that and expect a better answer. He’s sitting there saying there’s no signings because there’s no money so people want to know when they might see the only player we have paid a fee for. Especially when he doesn’t appear to even be in training with the first team.

Shocking it doesn't even occur to them to ask 'why not?' when he wouldn't say what he already said he knew

"For the future" is a load of horse manure.

Sure we are hoping he improves here, but if players are for the future, it means you play them in the present or they have no future.
And we're not in a financial position to be throwing £15m at future potential!! We need players now!!

Unless Bill/Mosh in their deluded world think were gonna start making money on young talent like Chelsea do!! *FFS, rolls eyes*

Watch when we announce he's been loaned back for the season!! lol lol

The time for punts on teenagers was when we were comfortable in the Prem - virtually the entirety of the last 2 decades. Not when we need every signing to be a hit just to stay in the division.
