I think this was the plan all along. Sign someone young and for the future (Toure first option) and sign someone like Iheanacho who is more experienced. That would be great recruitment.
Big if but yeah nobody would have any issues with a bright young kid, Iheanacho and Danjuma on loan to sort out our need for attackers

My very naive reading suggests that:
-he’s around a 1 in 3 guy
-almost all his goals are from open play
-doesn’t pass often
-a poor creator
-takes a lot of touches in the box
-decent defensively

I think that’s what that means
I'm hoping that the passing numbers are more to do with him being a target man that stays in/around the box and doesn't really get involved in build up, as opposed to him being being greedy/lacking creativity.

No idea if that is the case, but if it was it would make him a similar style of player to Dom under Carlo. Staying around the 6 yard box getting on the end of crosses.
 
Was thinking why would Sporting sell this lid, then remembered they signed Gyökeres, be a good deal for them getting almost what they paid for this young lad.
