After my favouritist gamer linglong recommended it, I've been playing Lost Odyssey of late. I'm on disc 3 now (of 4!) and it's absolutely fan-fecking-tastic.

The focus on narrative is so refreshing and the written "memories" are incredible. Not for everyone -- each memory is a short story presented as text -- but I adore them. It's not perfect -- some cutscene segments go on for too long and sometimes save points are too far apart. But it's old school in good ways and gorgeous to look at, despite being something like 3 1/2 years old.

I've completed most of the Tomb Raider games , from 2 onwards. Usually crap at most games, really
Bought Prince of Persia-Sands of Time for xmas. Got stuck on something in April. Not gone back on , since. Found a clip on Youtube on how to do it. Just cant do it

I could never get computer games to work so most of my favorites are commodore 64 games.

Pit Stop II (C-64)
Defender of the crown (C-64)
Parsec (Texas Instruments)
World Games (C-64)
H.E.R.O. (C-64; also a great game on the Atari 2600)

World Games was amazing, better than California games which was also great :)

I loved games like Wizard of Wor.

Here is a game that was brilliant in it's time

Do any of you remember asteroids on the atari? A little ship and you just had to blast the asteroids coming at you a simple but pretty addictive game. Well I just came across a game called 'Beat Hazard Ultra' its on steam its basically asteroids for the new generation but the game engine is designed to run in conjunction with your own music, from your own folders) i.e you put a tune on and the game tailors itself to run with the beat. It also gives you scores based on the track you played so you can beat your high scores. Hope that makes sense you should give it a try its addictive.
