I have recently made the transition from Console gaming to PC gaming.. Now my PS3 is strictly for sport games..

I have BF3 and Skyrim pre-ordered + I bought a few games off Steam.. Well on my way.

The hardest game I ever played was one on the commodore 64 called football director. You started in division 4 and after 200 seasons each lasting about 3 hours, the best I ever achieved was 2nd in Division 1. I never won any cups either! They were the days when computer games were for the hardcore. Kids nowadays have got it easy.

Intel i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHz (x8)
6.0 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT 220

Will need to update the Video card for BF3 and also need to get off Vista..

That's ok, I suppose. Especially compared to my E8400 OC'd to 3.6Ghz, 4 GB RAM and a 1GB GTX 560Ti

Need a new processor, mobo and ram to stay relevant I do!

The great thing is, you can have an old system, with a jock off graphics card and still play everything.

I just bought myself a monster last week.
i5 2500k 3.3GHz, 2 x GTX560Ti, 8GB DDR3 1866, 120GB SSD + 1.5TB.

The SSD is amazing, I just wish Steam didn't force you to install all its games in one location, because that's forced me to put it on the slower drive. The load times are on another level.

I've gone full circle

I went from the ps1/ps2 etc to PC,paid silly money for a (then) firebreathing PC from alienware but got bored and have moved back to consoles.

As Simba would say it's the circle of life (or was it Elton John?)

What brand SSD? Does it do that deleting on the fly thing? How much space does steam take up? How much was the SSD on its own?
