I only heard today having been in a remote part of the world!

I didn't expect to win to be fair, as I said earlier, I expected a few half arsed clicks - not a full scale campaign to get right behind our nomination!

Thanks to all, appreciated. The recognition for the site is brilliant and it can be a spring board to greater things for GrandOldTeam and it should appease our shareholders (forum supporters). It shows years of stability under the same dictator/leadership can pay dividends...

We've tasted an award now, and we wont rest until we've won 19.

To be serious, it's good that the forum is getting the acknowledgement it deserves, out of curiousity, would you expect it to increase the number of visitors by much?

Surely we don't rest after 19? Might be good enough for some Red Devils, but for GOT, the sky is the limit.

It's the friendliest forum I've ever seen. The layout is great. The discussions in all areas are great. There's good forum games to play and get you more involved in the season. And there's chicoazul.
 
It was a nice touch for the editor's choice award to go to GOT too, though, wasn't it?

Man knows his stuff.
