Panathinaikos, European Cup 1/4 final 1971 for me,5 years of age and absolutely fell head over heels with the sheer majesty that was the old lady Goodison Park, remember this was only 5 years on from hosting a World Cup Semi Final, and its a love affair which will last to my dying day.

Monday 4'th November 1996, Drew 1-1 with Coventry, Nick Barmby's debut, Graham Stuart pen and the Kopite McAallister scored.

Still remember the chills I got when that pen hit the net. Don't think I will ever forget it.

The best match in all the world when the mighty blues murdered Bayern Munich, I remember getting passed around the lower bullens on peoples shoulders, what a night.

Night match,70/71 I think 0-0 with Burnley. Went with my Dad and his mate Tommy and his son Barry. All the things have been said in this thread, the lights the noise the greenest grass in the world.... but even the best descriptions only capture a small part of it. Ilive thousands of miles and decades away but I've got goosebumps just remembering it. My dads gone now and so's Tommy not sure where Barry is now, but that night will stay with me until I die.

I remember it well mate, but what about the night the title was virtually clinched?when he waltzed by Clemence before coolly rolling it in towards the blue hordes behind the goal, aaahhh what great memories!!!!

8 Years of age

First match: Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Everton, 11 September 1999, Barmby and Gemmill.

First Goodison Game: Everton 4-0 Bradford City, 15 April 2000, Pembridge,Unsworth,Barmby and Collins

Quite the coincidence my first trip to Goodison was against Bradford and that is where i'm from. Or no coincidence and my dad picked that game on purpose. Whatever sue me.

My first visit was the final game of the 89/90 season against Villa, a 3-3 cracker. I was a bit nervous because I was only 12 and I'd watched us get spanked 6-2 at their place on the telly a few months earlier.

Away to Spurs 1971. My first chance to see my hero Alan Ball. Played in the old gold kit.
Lost 3-0; Chivers (2), Gilzean
And my expectations were established from that day onwards.
