Cannot remember the year at the moment - all I can recall is a cold wet day against Middlesborough and we drew 1-1 with Bob Latchford (a hero at the time although no one could replace Alan Ball in my heart) scoring. I had been hooked on the Blues since I was 7 years of age but this was my first chance to actually see them play and I was a young teenager by then.

Against Wimbledon, I think.

I was 3 or 4 and my Dad always tells me that some old woman fumed at him because he laughed when I called someone a '[Poor language removed]' rather than tell me off and explain it's a bad word.

Not sure this really counts but it was my first memory of Everton and first time saw them. Back in 1968 was in primary scool in Cardiff and in those days the FA cup final was a big deal. All the kids in the school yard picked a team and would play as them at lunch. Nearly all chose West Brom but i chose Everton and all week chants of West Brom ...Evertonnnnnnn would ring out. Come the Saturday it was on tv from early leading up to the final and my dad and I would be glued to the tv. As always we would bet on the winner with sixpence being the prize, of course I bet on Everton and can remember being gutted they lost ( perhaps because of the sixpence). Anyhow from that day on Everton was my team.

I'm actually quite proud to say that I have been to a match ^^
I think it was 2009 - home game against Wigan.
They drew 0 - 0.

That might have been one of the most educational experiences ever, seeing as I saw a kid of about 10, swear more than I have ever done in my life.

But it was awesome to see a game :D
