1985/86 Season, against Sheff Wed - won 3-1, I think no idea who scored or what not I was 6. I remember going to the Luton game the next season after and getting to see us lift the league trophy - that was awesome....we were brilliant. Sharp and Steven scoring, I think they got a pen and scored first - I remember thinking that wasn't allowed as we were top of the league ;)

Fantastic day that, can't wait until we do it again.

Saw pretty much every home game in 84/85 but can barely remember any of it, minor flashes here n there. Damn you weed

Think it was 1961 against either Blackpool or Blackburn but because I was 3 or less I can't remember.

I recall the wooden seats of the upper Gwladys st and a lady saying "it's too late now" as I come out of my dumbstruck shell shouting loudly as everyone folded their seats to go home. We would of won of course, we always did, but I've never got used to it - every time I see the old place the feeling of awe returns. People who say we should move to something less than a "Kings Dock" don't really know Everton.

I know what you mean mate, mine was a European cup 1/4 final against Panathinaikos,I was 5,and Goodison Park under the floodlights literally took my breath away,it was majestic, the love affair began then and will only cease the day I die!!

5th March 1988 - a 1-0 win against Newcastle. Mirandinha was ****e, Gazza missed an open goal and Kevin Sheedy became my idol. Wayne Clarke netted and Neil Adams looked like a world-beater.....at that stage....

Team:

Neville Southall
Gary Stevens
Pat Van den Hauwe
Dave Watson
Neil Adams
Alan Harper
Neil Pointon
Trevor Steven
Kevin Sheedy
Wayne Clarke
Graeme Sharp
