The side of a big cable drum from the BICC (British Insulated Callenders Cables) factory in Prescot.

Back in 1928 they donated a 1000 seater stadium in Hope St to the local Prescot FC, who changed their name to Prescot Cables and their kit colour to black and amber in an early form of commercial sponsorship. Prescot Cables still play at Hope St in Prescot and it's well worth a visit as old stands like that and old fashioned dug-outs are becoming increasingly rare in the lower non-league game.

My preferred venue for a match these days given the ridiculous expense and cynical business/consumer relationship clubs have with fans in the professional game.

The mother duck in the children's book "Make Way for Duckling". I used to live in the Back Bay of Boston where this book takes place and I love how McCloskey (the author) captures the proudness of mother duck walking in front of her flock of little ducklings as she leads them to the pond in Boston Commons. I read this book as a kid, and now I'm reading it to my kid.
You had that flying monkey for a while.. always thought it was something completely different until I zoomed in one day..
