Southall - greatest ever keeper, could always rely upon
Ferguson - scared everyone and was a rallying point in hard times
Kanchelskis - exceptional season with us, frightening pace and shot
Baines - all those free kicks and his partnership with peanuts
Rooney - the player everyone wanted

Baines - at his best, world class
Arteta - always great, but pre-injury, wonderful - best since the 80s. What a signing
Ferguson - he had his faults but what charisma - we loved him
Rooney mk 1 - in that first season, it was like there was a new Pele and he was an Evertonian
Kanchelskis - it didn’t last long, but he was brilliant; [Poor language removed] off a shovel

And an honorary mention for Beardsley. Miles too good for us at the time

As I work on the railway mate, the amount of people who know nothing about us before the Prem League started is unreal.I've spoken to fans of nearly every team in our league and apart from say the older ones(I'm 46) most don't know about our history of the famous EFC which I find shocking tbh. Its all about the champs league or city or Chelsea until I put them right about what we've achieved in the history of the game. One of my favourites was a Kopite going on about attendances when I told him we've had more at the Old Lady when we played in the second division than your record attendance at murderfield so shut up.But back to your point Sharpy, tricky, nev, reidy, sheeds any day of the week.

Why would they mate, it was nearly 40 years ago. Were you all about the teams of the 20's when you were growing up?
