Since the Moyes era (biggest % of prem games) Pienaar stood head and shoulders above any other for thoughtful, clever, insightful, instinctive play...
for me the perfect PREM addition.

I've always loved seeing the following on our teamsheet.

Lot's of other honourable mentions. When I think of some of the players we've had even through the mostly unsuccessful PL days I think we could build a team of World beaters.
Here's hoping 2018/19 brings in a few more like these.

Also can't believe we had Kanchelskis, Eto'o - in a good way, and Ginola, Gascoigne for other reasons. When was the Beardsley time - pre PL? Can't remember now, that was weird and good.

World beaters definitely if you think of Southall in his prime, and others who have gone one to Real Madrid, Man U, Man City, Arsenal and other places. Even people like Dier, Mustafi are interesting, in that they could have been at Everton.
