According to Merro, yes. But Merro has said a lot of things this transfer window, unfortunately. I'd be ecstatic with £2m. Before this I couldn't see us getting anything more than £1m tbh.

This. Trying to squeeze this deal for all it's worth isn't worth it because we might get an extra million out of it but the players that would be available will be more expensive anyway since as the window gets closer to the end clubs will need bigger bids for them to sell their players. I say sell him now, let him go to Fenerbahce and let us have a chance to operate in the window in preseason rather than 2 weeks into the full season running around like headless chickens looking for whoever may be available at the eleventh hour.
