Mina is the partner that settles the rest down, keane can only play decent alongside Mina, Holgate and Keane are a disaster and Godfrey needs him next to him as well. I would say Yerry is currently our best and most needed defender, hope he signs a new contract and stays fit.

Don’t think he’s ever been poor for us when he’s actually played personally, a complete myth that he’s this erratic, unpredictable and error-prone defender. A lazy myth because he looks a bit ungainly due to his height and running style. Our most solid and reliable defender by a mile when he’s fit, the only one with a consistent level of performance in him.

Poor was maybe the wrong word. He has made mistakes though but his good far out weighs his occasional lapse. If he was just slightly quicker he would be at Man City.
