I don't think he will ever play for anyone better than us. Can never feel totally confident with our defence when he's on the pitch.

Remember when he hadn’t conceded a goal for about 5 games and people were crowing that he was the second coming. Aged well didn’t it.

As I’ve said for the last 12 months, he cannot be partnered with Keane, it’s a disaster.

Massively. Head & shoulders our best CB last season & his pace covered a lot of Keane’s (& our general defensive) shortcomings.

Zouma & Gana both sorely missed.

We badly lack pace back there.

The thing is Silva plays a high line he must be aware he needs at least one CB with pace back there. Keane and Mina are too similar if we are honest. I can only see a three at the back with Holgate so we are stuck with these two till January.

That's like what leg do you want cut off mate the left or the right.

....it’s about blend, it’s about the right partnership and Mina/Keane is not the right partnership. One has to go to get the right blend, one has to go to get the right partnership.

Personally, I think Mina is superior to Keane and I think he will be terrific with the right partner. Clearly, others think otherwise but regardless one has to go.
