Yeah, he's a super talent, but still has a long ways to go before he's great. Hard to improve when you are hurt all the time. Hamstring problems and metatarsal issues in Brazil. Not sure about at Barca. Injuries with us for sure. Really like his potential, though.
Hope he's not out for long he was just starting to settle in the side again.
Looks like he's just having a classic bedding-in season, he's shown some flaws and strengths so far but does seem like a player who shows his best form when he's given a proper run in a side. People need to remember that Baines looked like he'd never cut in his first year here. On the other side of it is someone like Funes Mori, I remember how he looked great in his first 6 months and then when things properly settled we actually saw how his general level of performance wasn't up to scratch. Players need time and perhaps a bit of luck, so far he's not had much of either.
