I'd genuinely prefer Lascelles, and by some distance too. Northern Echo reporting we're going all in on Lascelles too, which is wonderful. Be buzzing if we pull it off.

I'd prefer Lascelles too but he'd cost near enough twice the money I think.

To be honest, I'd probably prefer a fit Rojo to Mina too, although it's a toss up between the two. I'm just wary of World Cup 'heroes' who have done little else - they tend to go complete El Hadji Diouf style wrong for the buying club.

Absolutely, however I don't think he'd cost as much as we fear he would. Rafael is desperate for money to buy new players and Ashley strikes me as a man who would jump at a sizeable offer. I reckon we might be able to get him for around £45m. For a 24 year old CB who is proven in the premier league, that's decent value in this market.
