I guess as Everton fans we are so used to pinching the pennies that we are horrified we are paying so much money for a decent but not amazing player but now that we have money we dont need to feel that way anymore, it isnt our whole transfer budget being blown on one guy. The way the market is at the moment I would say he is slightly over priced but not by much and if Palace didn't want to sell then we have to pay a premium.
He definitely improves our squad/team so its a decent signing.
 
It would be about now on RAWK that they would start banning people from talking about the price we paid I would say...or suggesting that he is anything less than a great signing and amazing player
 

Yeah £22m is much more like it, I'd bet the clauses bringing it up to £28m or whatever are mostly ridiculous like scoring 20 goals, us winning a cup, the league, him kicking Moreno in the face etc.
 
I feel a little more upbeat this morning.. yesterday was a dark day for me. So I have asked my colleagues (all Man U U fans) their thoughts on Bolasie and they think we are getting a heck of player, with one saying they wanted him for Manure. In fact they thought that was a serious acquisition. Anyway, in todays market it appears we always have the Troy Deeney value to feel better about most overvalued players.

Stops him tearing us a new one every time we play them too. Must admit he has been impressive against us every time I have seen him, hope he puts in that level of performance enough to keep us all happy.
