He was decent until that injury. Not the best player in the world but he put a lot of balls on a plate for Lukaku.

We've been unlucky the last few years with horror injuries. They've thrown Bolaise, Coleman, McCarthy and Kone on the scrap heap.

Kone was never off the scrap heap to be honest, The injuries at least gave him a purpose.

It's hard to argue. He was always inconsistent, but with his pace and power, he was a concern for other teams for better or worse. He's just not the same.
