ive always had a soft spot for west ham but there new owners do my head in. there just awful !

i think they treated zola very badly and the fact they have the nerve to bid as little as 7 million for a player we paid 12.5 million for and yet also have the nerve at the same time to slap a 16.5 million price tag on a piece of rubbish like carlton cole....it beggars belief.

boooooooo hammers owners !

They are businessmen and trying to protect their investment in a previously poorly run club, at this point I would take £10m for Yakubu now. I wont be sorry though if he is still here at the start of next season.

Moyes new that Andy Johnson was finished and got £10m for him, I trust him.

West Ham United Football Club have ended their interest in Yakubu.

Avram Grant worked with the striker during their time at Maccabi Haifa together, and the Hammers boss is keen to link-up with the Nigerian next season.

However, after having two bids of £4million and £5million rejected for the player, it is believed the Londoners have now ended their interest in the Everton man.

The Toffees paid £11million for Yakubu in the summer of 2008, and David Moyes is said to want to recover the vast majority of this fee to consider letting him leave.

No way could we replace him for that money.

Glad he's staying
