I was very sceptical of the signing but I really took to him. He was a great finisher and a great lad. Pity about the injury.

Loved him. Still think we let him go too early, even despite him not being the same after his injury.

He went on to score 19 league goals in one season at Blackburn when we sold him for chicken feed. Moyes ruined strikers.
