Whether you like him or not, if you were picking the worst possible time for him to leave the club, this would be it.

It's ok, Sharpy likes to feed if doom and gloom. He's a proper Evertonian, not like these optimistic souls like myself. Or maybe he's just a glass is half empty kind of a guy. Cheer up mate, it'll be ok.

Don't worry.

You know me Ghost, Can't help myself. Just seems like realy bad timeing. I was never a fan of wyness, he spouted to much [Poor language removed]. But just before the season starts, when no one has been brought in yet!!

Just doesn't make sense to me.

We really need players in, in fact it's getting desprate. Who will do it? Are they qualified? Just hope this all doesn't end in tears.

Im to used to the [Poor language removed] hitting the fan with this club. can you balme me for being a cup half empty kind of guy?

That shows the measure of the man.

All this controversy, then someone says "come and lie on a beach in spain for 9 months of the year, [Poor language removed] your former employer and get a big fat wad of cash into the bargain" and he is onto it faster than a fat kid on a cream cake.

I doubt he will be missed.

You don't know that Yet. It might have nothing to do with another job.

More like a power struggle with the manager i think!!

That's how I see it. Hate the guy all you want be to be made up he's left at this moment is something to worry about IMO.

And as for a board shake up? Do we really need one at this exact time 3 weeks from the start of the new season? Its not going to just affect the board but the player and the manager WHO HASNT EXTENDED HIS CONTRACT YET.

Yeah but he has suddenly come out and said exactly why he hasn't signed and that he will be signing it soon.

I think the reason may not be entirely true and it was a clash between the 2 that was delaying his decision.

O.K then, lets get this right.....

We have the smallest squad in britian (by a long way)

We have not signed a fukkin bean an theirs 2 1/2 weeks till the big kick off.

We don't seem to have a pot to piss in.

The CEO has just resigned, For what?

The grounds an utter [Poor language removed]-hole, an have seen better in 3rd word countries.

An any chance of a new stadium, seems to be slipping away!!

And you are all happy about this!!

WHY?
Becuase we're evertionians and we dont have much to shout about do we :)

i think it's a great time to leave.

he may have got a bad result to the kirby call-in,leaving for the spanish equivalent of the kirby deal (moving mallorca to the mainland  )

our supposed "no pot to piss in" (despite bidding for jose moutinho) will increase after the sale of AJ

and moyes has come out saying he'll sign the contract soon (even though he has a year left),and that he's been looking for players (evident with the bid in lisbon)

things happen quickly in football - we only heard rumours about wyness leaving last night.

just another excuse for hypochondriacs to worry. here's to investing the chippy fund!!!

Reasons to be cheerful... part 3

...it would appear that the last obstacle to Moyes extending his contract has been removed...

.. Rob Elstone will be negotiating transfers in the absence of Big Fat Keith...

...Moyes has just come out with some rather definate statements of intent with regard to quality and quantity of new signings to be expected before the big kick off...

... reading between the lines, the Club appears to have swerved an extra £80M+ debt for what was turning out to be a blighted move... (if Ian Ross says it wasn't due to a call in, I'd bet my motgage that it was:lol:)...

Quite possibly the only Club CEO prepared to threaten groups of his own club's supporters (plus some rather confused far eastern dentists) with legal action, has buggered off to the Med, never to darken our doors again...

[Lets out a contented and relieved sigh]

Joao to be exact. I initially thought we were signing Jose Mourinho.
