Writing...

Didn't mean it in a cruel way :D Just thinking its better to find out that sort of thing early on than invest time in writing a 300 page book and then find out. It would give you a chance to hone your craft as well.

I'm currently writing a PhD thesis which I hope to get published in some form.

I think once I'm over the psychological barrier of being able to write 100,000 words, I'll manage to get a novel out. I dabbled in writing a number of years ago, but it was your typical teenage angst bullfish. Embarrassing.

I've for years wanted to write a book on the frequent overlap of sports and politics. Jesse Owens at the Berlin Olympics, for example.

My mate writes very cool poetry. Unfortunately he's too busy writing plays and trying to be Oscar Wilde at the moment, to concentrate on what he's good at.

it gave me a buzz when i went back to my old uni and saw that 17 people had checked out my dissertation from the one day reference library.

i'd love to write a book, but where do you get the time?

Fozz, you were just meant to do other things with your hands mate...and you're damn good at it.

(I just realised how that could be taken. I meant your skill with wood. Doh...[Poor language removed] it, you knew what I meant.)

the mrs never conplains!

but cheers buddy!
