No I'm serious, this is the first poll I've ever set up, I thought it would be private. I think I've only ever made like 5 threads total.
If i start receiving abusive pms like I do with my Kithnou's Unbeaten for the Month threads I'll pass them on to you....

I don't know how you could physically want your team to lose?? I could try, but my primal blue instinct would still make me jump up when we scored! I personally think he's a goner anyway regardless of a few wins, the last 2 years cannot be undone!

Never want us to lose any matches but, after the event (a loss or series of losses) its inevitable people are calling for his head. A lot of us have tried to be patient. But managers live and die by results. The amount of losses this year make him vulnerable (not just the last 3). I desperately want us to win the FA Cup though. If we also have a run of victories until the end of the season it might just keep him in his job. And if we're winning I'm happy. Just don't see it. And if we keep losing I'll be in a fume as much as the next fan (but only after the losses). In the meantime I want us to win starting today.

The fact this question is being asked shows just how much of a mess Martinez has made and the fractures in the fanbase. I never want us to lose but hope to God he's sacked soon and everyone can unite together behind the new owner and manager.

That's exactly it the fanbase is fractured. I can't take him as manager much longer

I'd take bruised pride and everything before I'd want Everton to lose a game. Even the before the City game, and despite wanting Liverpool to get embarrassed to the extreme, I still wanted us to beat them. I want Martinez out as much as the next person, but even if we won every game to the end of the season he should still go IMO- it's been a failed season.

Can see the logic behind @matty1878's thinking though, and he does seem a good guy on here. Emotions obviously still high. If you don't agree, say it and move on. No harm done :)

If you wanted this to be remotely unbiased you shouldn't have made the vote publicly visible, you knew setting it up that that would mean people don't vote yes when they otherwise would.

I'm a no, for the record. Just pointing out that the poll is flawed.

Actually, the more I think about it, why should it be private? You should be proud of your decision and be able to make a cohesive argument as to why you chose which box to tick.

Far from me to influence a vote (I don't have that power as nobody reads my tripe on here), but if you didn't want people to know you wanted Everton to lose football games then you're probably on the wrong site.
