Would you have Bendtner?

Says who?

As mentioned in another thread about this he could be our next Big Dunc or Brett Angell. He has the talent no doubt, however his head is just too big for his shoulders. Everyone in Denmark thinks that he should be more humble go to a non-CL club and play some regular football. After a few seasons without injuries and a regular games the Danes will see whether he is all that he has hyped himself up to be.
Our national coach Morten Olsen has stated that he should leave England - but he does that all the time to all players.

If you can lie then you're obviously Norwegian or something mate.

i defo would have him, he is big, strong and has got a good head on him. we can only rely on saha 4 20 games a season, yak is finished, and i cant see becks/marvin firing us into eurpe or even top 10

Were one of the teams offering terms to both club and player at the moment, nothing concrete yet.

Do the terms we're offering include the words 'Jagielka', or 'Distin'?

On another note, Bender from Futurama would be amazing for us. He's solid, and has got extendable arms and legs.

Yes FFS.

His goal scoring record is decent, and he's never had a proper run in Arsenal's starting 11 so it's harsh to judge his ability on his performances for them alone. Regardless, he's currently sitting just below a 1:4 goal to appearance ratio, and most of those appearances were when he was still a teenager.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Bendtner or No one FFS?

Tough choice.

Bendtner.

He's only 23 and has never really had a good run in that Arsenal side. However I've seen figures around £8-9 million being quoted so surely we can get someone more useful for that money?

Oh and yeah, we also don't have that money.

Some of the comments in this thread are stupid as ****.

Let's sign nobody, rather than a player who's maintained a 1 in 4 goal ratio for Arsenal and Birmingham, despite only being 23 and never having a proper run for the Gunners.

As for his attitude, people want to sign a guy who has been jailed for beating the **** out of an innocent man, makes Bendtner look like Florence Nightingale.

Just watch that video. He's clearly capable with his head, which would give Baines a good target man up front for crosses, and has the ability to hold the ball up against multiple defenders. He'd be perfect alongside Beckford. Anybody saying he's crap after watching some of those goals is just being a numpty.

I'm with you mate. He's missed a few sitters and had a few high profile gaffs, so that sticks in the heads of non-Arsenal fans. But I've seen a lot of Arsenal fans sticking by him and saying he's quality.

He's good with his feet, tall, versatile and can score different types of goals. He's only 23 and has never had a consistent run in the first team. Not up front anyway.

He is a massive egotist but so what? That's a good thing for a striker. It allows him to bounce back; he's mentally resilient. Delusional too, like, but it's better than the alternative; Bilyaletdinov-style low confidence.

But we can't afford him. Simple as. And £9 million or so is far too much for us to spend on anyone who isn't going to definitely be completely ace.

Unfortunately in today's market one would need to spend twice that for a player who will be completely ace.
