Would you have Arteta back?

Don't understand the Arteta hatred to be honest. He was good for us except for his last crab-tastic season and we got a good profit for him and have moved on since.

Yes, he's acted foolish at times since but he's just another player in my eyes - not a legend, not terrible, somewhere in between.

He's not like Cahill, but he was here nearly as long as him and was a fantastic player for us. A lot of people have forgiven Rooney for badge kissing and over-celebration when scoring against us and he did that for more years than he was actually here.

Arteta who was the heart of our team for years acts a knobhead for 2 games and he's toxic now? He got his comeuppance at Goodison, he lost, got put in his place by Baines and scored an own goal at the Gwladys. I don't need any more than that.

It bugs me when players behave like that against previous clubs though, especially when it was thought that he and the club parted ways on amicable and respectful terms. Look at Jonjo Shelvey against the RS. Scored a 30-yard equaliser in front of the Kop but instead of going mad he put his hand up to apologise and was rightfully applauded for being classy. Not all players can be expected not to celebrate of course, but don't deliberately try to rub it in or wind the fans who once adored you up, it stinks of arrogance.

Iv seen Arteta a few times this season, mostly chasing Barkley after being sucked in and done by a piece of skill, it really is marvellous to watch. I have no time for that puppet looking freak-show, crab of a player.

No chance I would have him back got far better players in our team at the moment. Can't believe that he is a player Arsenal look to when they are in a battle. Plus he left us with virtually no time to find a replacement when he walked out on us.

OH MY GOD.

I can't believe Jags and Baines are still friendly with him, don't they know how he kissed the Arsenal badge and then wiped bogies on Barkleys Everton shirt.

I want them out of Everton right now. I don't care if we don't get any money for them, just play proper loyal Evertonians Hibbert and Osman in defence instead.

Wouldn't have him now as he getting older. Loved him as a player and still respect him, Him or Cahill should have been our captain over Phil N.
