For some reason i always remember when we signed Samways and reading in the match programme he was from Bethnal Green.

Then when i lived in London many years later and visited it i thought to myself, this is the birthplace of Vinny Samways.

Whenever i hear someone say Bethnal Green now, i always think... "Samways."

He might not even be from there, I've never checked. Some dreams are left unspoilt.
